Israel to impart training on Vegetable Nursery Management for Indian Field Extension Agents
New Delhi, 25 June, 2014: MASHAV – Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation and CINADCO - The Center for International Agricultural Development Cooperation have organized training on vegetable nursery management for Indian field extension agents from 16-26 June, 2014 in CINADCO’s International Training Centre, Kibbutz Hotel, Shefayim.
Participants comprising of experts and professionals from Departments of Agriculture and Horticulture in Goa, Maharashtra, Haryana, Punjab, Odisha, Karnataka and Gujarat have participated in this seminar. The purpose of the 10 day course was to provide participants with skills in planning, implementation, managing and monitoring all aspects of nursery establishment and production. The Indian participants will be able to further impart the knowledge acquired during the course in their respective areas.
The training program also included professional lectures, visits and practical practices and is a teaching and learning venture for the mutual benefit of both the countries.
